Baby Bonding Top

Our Popps Bonding Top made from soft bamboo viscose was specially developed to promote valuable skin-to-skin contact between parents and baby – whether premature or full-term babies.

It gives your baby closeness, security and warmth by holding it safely on your chest. The soft material offers protection and support and strengthens the bond and your baby's basic trust.

This close physical contact helps your baby to regulate its body heat and to find its way better in the new world. Your baby feels your heartbeat, your breathing and the rise and fall of your chest, which gives it a sense of security and safety.

The bonding top can also support breastfeeding, as skin-to-skin contact promotes hormone production and helps you develop an even better feeling for your baby.

Instructions for using the Popps Bonding Top:

1. Choosing the right size:
   Our bonding top is available in sizes S, M, L. Choose the right size so that it fits well and offers your baby sufficient support.
2. Slip into the bonding top:
   Sit comfortably and pull the bonding top up to hip height. Make sure that the seams are facing outwards and that the top is positioned correctly, as it is specifically designed for use while sitting or lying down.
3. Putting your baby on your chest:
   Place your baby naked (only wearing a diaper) and in an upright position on your chest so that he or she can feel your skin directly. Make sure that the head is comfortable and secure and the legs are bent.
4. Pull up the bonding top:
   Carefully pull the bonding top up to your baby's ears so that the head is well supported. The top gently encloses your baby and gives him support and security. Please make sure that there is no pulling on the feet or that the toes are pulled up (see video instructions).
5. Keep airways clear:
   Your baby's head should be facing to the side. If necessary, gently turn it to the side to clear the airway.
   Make sure your baby's airway is always clear and the seams are facing outwards.
6. Let's start cuddling:
   Enjoy the precious skin-to-skin contact in a sitting or lying position. Your baby will feel safe and secure while you enjoy this intimate moment.

Do not use it while standing or walking. When changing positions, always make sure that your baby's airway remains clear and the head is well supported and hold your baby firmly when changing positions.

Your baby should be in an upright position and his physiological breathing must be ensured at all times.

Make sure that the bonding top reaches below the ears to provide optimal support for your baby's neck. Make sure that the seams of the bonding top always face outwards. Our bonding top is suitable for the first weeks of your baby's life.

If the Bonding Top shows any damage, please do not use it.
